PHILTRONICS 2006 (Philippine Electronics & Semiconductor, SMT & PCB Manufacturing Technology, Supplies, & Services Exhibition) was held at the World Trade Center in Manila last September 20-23.
Leading brand IDEC, in cooperation with Zenith International Philippines, Inc., the exclusive distributor of IDEC products in the Philippine market, had a strong presence at Philtronics, putting on display the latest control units, relays and sockets, display lights, timers, PLC’s, power supplies, touch screens, and sensors. Samples for each product category were showcased for testing by booth visitors.
Another highlight of the exhibition was the IDEC booth receiving the award for Second Runner Up in the booth competition for having a well presented booth design, functional product display, sufficient brochures and catalogues, and knowledgeable staff.

This year’s PHILTRONICS marked its 13th year of annual staging. Co- organized by PESSA (Philippine Electronics & Semiconductor Suppliers’ Association), the said expo was incorporated in the six major technological exposition jointly staged in one very important technology-related exhibit this year, the “Manufacturing Technology World 2006.”
The other five trade shows integrated in the grand expo were EnviroTech, Metal Philippines, Plastics and Packaging, Print and Label, and Woodmach Philippines. The annual show gathered the exhibitors, and foreign and local visitors in the field of electronics technology businesses, academe, and enthusiasts. |
